If you are from out of the area, call the shelter at (916) 782-SPCA (7722) or (530) 885-PETS (7387) and give a staff member the animal number from the website along with the description/breed of the dog.  The staff person can look up the number and let you know if the dog is still in the shelter, before you make the drive to visit.

Agility All Stars!  At the Placer SPCA we do our best to keep our animals happy and healthy. We take pride in our programs, which encourage the best possible match between adopters and family companions. We consistently receive requests from potential adopters for dogs with training. Since many of the dogs we receive are young and energetic, and often untrained, we developed a program that combines obedience and agility training. The "Placer SPCA All Stars" is a program that helps alleviates stress, boredom and depression while increasing our dogs’ chances of adoptability.
